As a precursor to the St. Helens Building Schools to the Future Project, Nowcomm have deployed a fully converged Cisco Voice and Data network at Cowley Language College.
Nowcomm have built a robust network comprising of Cisco switching and routing, a sophisticated Cisco Voice system and Integrated Cisco Security platforms.
With any new school build, staff and pupils often find it difficult to adapt to not only new environments but to new technologies. Nowcomm therefore provided customized training solutions to ensure an impeccably smooth transition for all concerned.
Nowcomm also provide a 24x7 proactive monitoring service, with dedicated engineers stationed at the Nowcomm Operations Centre in Derby; analyzing reports and traffic to ensure consistent performance and allow for full business continuity in the event of failure.
Despite hugely demanding timescales, Nowcomm delivered the project with expert precision, testament to experienced project management and the expertise of the associated engineering staff.
Nowcomm are now looking to deploy similar models in a further twelve St. Helens BSF schools commencing in Summer 2012, thus providing Cisco Voice and Data Services to two of the UK largest BSF phases, having already deployed similar solutions at Bradford.
