Nowcomm have successfully provisioned the deployment of a Cisco IP Telephony solution for a further three schools as part of the Bradford pathfinder schools in the Government’s Building Schools for the Future Scheme. In the largest state funded project since the Second World War, Nowcomm were contracted to deploy a state of the art IP telephony system, capable of providing the platform for the growth of an additional 35 Schools in and around the Bradford area in the next ten years.
By centralizing the IPT solution within a Data Centre, Nowcomm have provisioned a telephony and voicemail platform that is both robust and scalable, built on highly resilient Cisco Unified Communications infrastructure. The architecture was designed to help reduce administration, maintenance and costs, whilst providing extensive functionality and a core platform for transforming the educational environment for Staff and Pupils alike.
Building on the successful deployment of Phase 1, Nowcomm about to deploy a Cisco Voice and LAN platform for a further 7 Schools as part of Phase 2 of the project, making Nowcomm one of the most innovative Cisco partners in the Education field. Resulting in providing cutting edge technology and full monitoring and support services to over 12000 pupils and staff in the Bradford area alone.
